August 19 2023 1-11 pm at the Historic North Columbia Schoolhouse on Nevada City's beautiful San Juan Ridge.
Our featured musical guests include local bands Planet Jam, as well as Blu Egyptian, Big Sticky Mess, Boca do Rio, and Smoky the Groove
Local group Haute Trash will entertain with a eco friendly upcycled fashion show.
This year's speakers will educate us on sustainable solar energy, the future of food, climate change and more

Our theme for 2023 seems to be all about the "Groove" and Smokey the Groove promises to bring plenty with them as our headliner this year.
Smokey The Groove is California’s Funk Rock Jazz Experience. Creating a dancing journey that has been showing up all over the Pacific NorthWest and beyond. This 7 piece group of freaks has an infectious lighthearted sound with a full horn section, jazzy guitar, heavy bass, and emotionally powerful drumming. Voted Best Local Act in their hometown of Chico, CA in 2021 & 2022, this band is a full-powered dance machine. Guiding crowds on an evocative adventure through musical serenity, chaotic nastiness, and the love of funk.
